Our Lost and Found is out of control! Please ask your child to check for lost items, or you can come in to check for any missing items.
April 11 Collaboration
Our staff gathered on April 11 for teacher-professional collaboration time. I want to share some details about how our staff spent the day.
We welcomed our incoming kindergarten students and families to IVE. It was great getting to know them and sharing with them how awesome IVE is! Teachers also collaborated to increase math discourse in classrooms as well as looking at social studies and science standards.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership. These days are a significant benefit for our elementary staff that will, in turn, support our students’ academic success. Have a great weekend!
Register for the 2025-26 school year today
Elementary school registration for the 2025-26 school year is now open for current students. Registration is required annually and is the time to update your child’s information and pay fees. Completing registration confirms that your child will attend school in August and helps the district appropriately staff classrooms. Beginning in 2025-26, all 6th and 9th graders will be required to provide proof of residency (a current purchase contract, lease or utility bill, within the attendance area for your address) as part of the transition to a new level.
Thank you for taking the time to complete this important step. For more registration information, visitwww.bluevalleyk12.org/registration.

IVE Student Fundraisers
Hello. I am writing to share an exciting and heartfelt opportunity to make a profound difference in the life of my child, Lincoln. Lincoln is a 9 year old boy and has been dealing with a rare type of epilepsy called Lennox Gastaut Syndrome for years. It is a medication resistant form of epilepsy and after careful consideration and research, we believe that a service dog would provide the essential support and companionship needed to improve his daily life and overall well-being.
A service dog can offer Lincoln much-needed assistance by alerting us to seizures, retrieving medications, and bringing a phone to call 911. More importantly, a service dog can offer emotional support and help Lincoln develop confidence and regain his independence.
Our total cost for a trained service dog, including training, equipment, and medical care, is $20,000. Unfortunately, this cost is beyond our current means, especially as I am a single mom with no income other than my job, which I miss often due to Lincoln’s medical conditions. That’s why we are reaching out to you and our community for help.
Warm regards,
Lora & Lincoln Pearson
