Welcome back! I hope you all enjoyed your well deserved long weekend. If you have not had the opportunity to watch the volleyball girls or the baseball boys yet, this week provides you the chance to watch both teams at home. The volleyball girls will play Gideon Tuesday in the first home game of the year at 5:00. Senior volleyball players will also be recognized that evening. The baseball team will have their first home game this Thursday against Cooter at 4:30.

Last week, positive postcards were ordered. If you have not already done so, please stop by the building office and pick up a few cards. This is not meant to be "one more thing" for you to do. The importance of contacting parents early with a positive message cannot be overstated! I would like for each of you to send out at least one positive post to a parent this week. Once you have it complete, bring it to the office and we will mail it for you! It does not need to be a novel--a short note of encouragement and praise will be perfect!

Finally, thank you once more for all you are doing. You have adapted wonderfully to these changing times. I am amazed everyday at your ability to provide a sense of normalcy to the kids while still enforcing the new rules of social distancing. Your hard work and dedication do not go unnoticed!

Loom is a screencasting Google Chrome extension that allows for screen recording with or without a camera view. There are no time limits on the videos and they work with the district's internet firewalls. You can store up to 25 videos with this service and if you are an educator or student you can upgrade to pro and have unlimited videos. It only takes about 3 days to get verified.
