Attention 8th grade students and families:
Please take some time between now and January 30th to review the MVHS registration process/information and discuss course options with your student, dean and teachers. We are asking that students bring a completed 9th grade registration sheet with them to school on January 30th. Students will use this document to help them complete the MVHS registration process on their StudentVUE account.
If you have any questions or concerns about 9th grade registration please contact your students dean.
Attention 5th grade families!
We are excited to begin the process of welcoming incoming 6th graders to Chippewa! To provide families an overview of Chippewa we will be hosting a Middle School Parent Information Night on Thursday, February 1st, at Chippewa Middle School starting at 6:15 pm. This is a great opportunity to meet teachers, visit classrooms, and discover what makes Chippewa a special place for middle school students -- a place where they can learn and grow both in their academics and their social/emotional development. We will share the presentation as well as additional information about the sixth-grade curriculum on our website for families who are not able to attend.
This information night is geared toward parents of incoming sixth graders, your student will have an opportunity to tour and learn more about Chippewa this spring. We hope you will join us. If you have any questions, please call us at 651-621-6400.
Know the Facts!
According to the American Psychiatric Association, close to 40% of us are stressed about our own mental health, with 3 in 10 hoping to make changes in the new year by making a resolution. For some tips, ideas and suggestions on how to navigate this, please see the January blog from the mental health and chemical health team, “Let’s Talk About It-Happy New Year!”
