Holly Ridge Middle Weekly Update

Our 6th and 7th grade students celebrated a Neon Friends-Giving at the dance on Friday night. We hope everyone had a great time. We want to say a big thank you to our PTA, volunteers, and staff members for helping to make the event a success!

Holly Ridge Middle School is proud to announce our 2024-2025 Teacher of the Year and our Instructional Assistant of the Year. Congratulations to Mr. Erik Walorz, our Teacher of the Year and Mr. Jason Horton our Instructional Assistant of the Year! Both are exceptional educators and mentors. We are honored to have them as a member of the Hornet family and to represent Holly Ridge Middle School!

Lost and Found

The lost and found has accumulated a large quantity of items, and we would like to give our students the opportunity to reclaim any belongings they may have misplaced. We encourage everyone to check the lost and found for any lost items before we leave for the Thanksgiving break on Tuesday, November 26th, after which unclaimed items will be donated to a local donation center.

Winter Sports Tryouts

Winter sports tryouts will be held all this week, Monday, November 18th-Friday, November 22nd. Please remember students must have all information uploaded in Dragonfly and be cleared in order to try out. Please contact Coach Moss at smoss@wcpss.net for questions.

Dance

A HUGE thank you to all of the staff members and parent volunteers who helped out to make our first dance of the year a success. We could not pull off these events without you! We hope many 6th and 7th grade parents had happy kiddos come home from the dance Friday.
