Craddock's Weekly Update
For the Week of May 20, 2024
Happy Weekend Craddock Families!
I cannot even believe I am putting together the Weekly Update for the final week of school! Where did the year go? Reflecting back, it's been such a wonderful school year, filled with so many successes and celebrations. Our staff has been looking at spring benchmarking data compared to the fall and the growth our students made across all areas is nothing short of phenomenal. They all worked so hard and are ready to break for a beautiful summer. Come August, I have all the confidence they will be ready to begin again and start another journey of growth!
I get ready to wrap up the year with a heart full of gratitude for the wonderful Craddock staff who has supported our students all year, the students themselves who fill my days with so much happiness and laughter and you, the families, who continue to be incredibly supportive of all we do. I am so lucky to get to come to school at Craddock each day and I will never take that for granted! Thank you for trusting the Craddock staff with your most valuable possessions!
Please know I will send out a Weekly Update in early June with some news about upcoming summer events, as well as pictures from our last week together. I will then send one again in July and begin regular weekly publications the week of August 5th! It will be here before we know it!
For now, enjoy these final four days! We are excited to wrap up with our final rally, some cleaning out and Lunch on the Lawn for our 2nd graders! We are going to miss this charismatic, adorable and kind group of kids so much! The weather looks exceptional for it all! Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions as we cross the finish line together on Thursday, May 23rd! Happy almost summer to all!
Best wishes,

Field Day Fun
Craddock is so grateful to Mrs. Barrett, Craddock's PTO VP, as well as the countless volunteers who were able to come out and support Field Day on Friday. Thank you for your patience and flexibility as we decided to move the festivities to a half day and take care of them inside. With the forecast, it was our safest choice to ensure the kids had a great time! Luckily, THEY DID! Check out some pictures from the day below!

Craddock Transportation Request/Attendance Reporting 23-24
If you want to change your child's transportation in any way, please scan the QR code below or click the button below to fill out our Google form. This can be done from any device and your reply will be sent immediately to our secretary, Mrs. Kerchenski.
Also, if your child is absent, instead of calling us, you can also use this code to report the absence and reason for the absence. We are working really hard to reduce the amount of phone calls, emails or notes that we receive. We ask that you reserve those modes of communication for emergencies only. It's hard to manage communication coming in from all those different medias for 400 plus students. Thank you in advance for your help and let us know if you have any questions at all!
