It is hard to believe we are already in the month of October! We have had a terrific start to the school year! We are filling our classrooms with joyful and impactful learning! Talk to your student nightly about what's happening in their classroom daily.

🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️Our PTO is hosting a FUN RUN on Thursday, October 3rd. Students will be asking for sponsors to support them for laps completed. Money collected from this event will support PTO's efforts to continue to enhance our outdoor spaces and to pay for enriching field trips for our students. We have set a goal of $25,000! You can register your student on mybooster.com to participate in the run! Thank you for supporting our PTO and the students of Mylan Park Elementary!

🍁Thursday, October 24th we will be having our Fall Celebrations in classrooms. Students are allowed to wear their costumes to school on this day. (Please no weapons or masks.) Be looking for information from homeroom parents about how you can help make the day special for our students.

🍭On Thursday, October 24th we will also be hosting our annual "Fall Festival!" This is for Mylan Park students and families only. Students with last names A-L please join us 4:30-5:15. Students with last names M-Z we ask that you join us 5:45-6:30. Students are encouraged to wear their costumes and bring a bag to collect goodies.

This month is packed with PTO fun! Our biggest fundraiser of the year is in full swing and closes with a student favorite, "The Patriot Fun Run" on October 3rd. All students will showcase their athletic aptitude as they earn financial support for the school. Ask your student about last year’s inaugural event - it was a blast! Watch for updates on The Park’s social media pages for more information on this year’s event. Funds raised will support additional field trip expenses, school-wide events, and ongoing school improvements and beautification.

We are gearing up for the Mylan Park Fall Festival on Thursday, October 24th. This PTO and community sponsored event offers games, trunk-or-treating, food vendors ($) and family fun to the max! We can’t wait to see you there! Keep an eye on your Mylan Park social media links for ways you can make this event even better.

Our School Wide Book Club has launched! We hope that you and your child are enjoying reading this book together. We have had a blast reading it here at The Park and we appreciate so many of our students engaging in our trivia questions on Tuesdays and Thursdays with Mrs. Osecky.

We are excited to be hosting our 2nd annual Patriot Fun Run at The Park on Thursday, October 3rd!

This Fun Run is our only school-wide fundraiser of the year, sponsored by our PTO, and it's so easy for you and your student to support our school and our BIG goals!

In case of an unplanned Early Dismissal it is imperative that we know how your student is to go home. If you have not yet filled out our Unplanned Early Dismissal form for each of your students we ask that you please complete it as soon as possible.
