This document should be used as a guide, allowing you to quickly find answers to your questions. The guide can also be found at www.strongnet.org/restart.
As we have seen throughout the pandemic, factors can change on a daily basis and this Guide will remain adjustable and flexible to respond to state and local health guidelines.

MUSTANG SPOTLIGHT - MS. RACHEL FLYNN, 1ST GRADE TEACHER AT CHAPMAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Ms. Rachel Flynn has been a first grade teacher at Chapman Elementary for two years. Ms. Flynn earned her undergraduate degree from Cleveland State University and is also in the process of working on her Master’s Degree at CSU.
“I love working with my students, connecting with each of them individually, and watching their growth throughout the school year. My students amaze me with their resilience, growth mindsets, and kind hearts! The best part about my job is making a difference in a child's life. It has been a pleasure working at Chapman with colleagues that are supportive, and helpful. I love working at a school that is so diverse and inclusive. I feel so grateful each day to be a part of the Strongsville community,” said Ms. Flynn.
Thank you Ms. Flynn for being part of a fantastic teaching staff at Chapman Elementary! #WeAreStrongsville
SHS MUSICIANS PARTICIPATE IN THE OMEA VIRTUAL SOLO & ENSEMBLE CONTEST
In March the Strongsville High School Music Program had over 100 student musicians participate in the first ever Ohio Music Education Association's District 4, Virtual Solo & Ensemble Contest. This annual event was supposed to have been held in person at North Ridgeville High School in January. Due to the pandemic, the event was held virtually. Student musicians from the SHS band, orchestra, and choir programs prepared repertoire, made recordings, and submitted them for virtual adjudication. The judge's comments and ratings were recently returned with most of our student musicians earning Superior (I) or Excellent (II) ratings! We are very proud of the dedication, and accomplishments of our awesome “musical mustangs.” Congratulations!
