Welcome Back Rollers!
Elementary Dismissal Routine Reminders
We ask that all elementary families review the following bulleted points below, which will help make our arrival and dismissal process run smoother.
Arrival:
*No one will be allowed to park in front of the building for any reason. Traffic must continue to flow at all times.
*When you pull up in front of the elementary building, a staff member will greet you. Please have your students ready with their belongings to get out of the car so that traffic can continue to flow.
*As soon as your students’ are dismissed from the vehicle please pull away in an organized fashion.
*Parents should not be getting out of the car to help their children, please allow the staff out front to assist. We are there to help!
*Staff will be outside from 7:45-8:30 to assist with the flow of traffic. If you drop your students off after 8:30, they will be considered tardy. We will make exceptions the first week of school.
Dismissal:
*Parent Pickup starts at 3:00 PM and will go until 3:30.
*Parents that are walking to the school should pick their students up on the Reynders Side of the building AS WALKERS.
*Parents WILL NOT be allowed to come to the front of the school for any reason. Parents will either pick up their students as walkers (on the side of Reynders Street) or as a parent pickup (which will take place in the car line).
*We are asking that parents do not approach the entrances of the elementary to pick up their students. If you want to park across the street or off campus so that you do not have to wait in the car line please make sure your child(ren)’s teachers know that your child(ren) need to dismiss as walkers and you will need to pick them up on the side of Reynders Street. Our staff out-front needs to focus on our parents that are driving through the parent-pickup line so we can keep the traffic moving.
*Please have your parent pickup card in the window and available to be viewed. If you do not have a pickup card please contact the main office to get one.
*It is critical that your child’s teacher knows how they will be dismissed.
*Dismissal routines cannot change last minute. If you want your child’s dismissal routine to change, please contact your child’s teacher first thing in the morning.
*Please make sure that your child(ren) also know how they are to get home.
We need your help, patience and flexibility in order to make this process go smoothly.
Rollers Cheerleaders Bring the School Spirit!
We are excited to share that this year we have both a Jr. High and a Varsity cheerleading squad. These young ladies have been busy preparing for their 2023-2024 season with a Barbie themed cheer camp this August. In addition, they participated in the Ryan Mohn Memorial Walk and cheered at their first football games of the season. Both teams did an amazing job!
