BAKING CLUB
Baking club is for students who love to bake, want to learn to bake, or enjoy eating baked goods! We meet regularly to plan and bake (at SLHS) and hold bake sales. Our meetings are all about sharing our love of baking!
We meet bi-weekly on Mondays in 3404 and bake on Thursdays at SLHS.

DRAMA CLUB
A group of actors that produce two shows a year. One show is a play and the other is a musical. This year's play is going to be Our Town and it will be presented in November. The spring musical is going to be The Addams Family and it will be on stage in April. GSA
Genders & Sexualities Alliance or GSA for short, is a student organization that unites LGBTQ+ and allied youth to build community and organize around issues impacting students in their schools and communities. GSAs have evolved to serve as safe spaces for LGBTQ+ youth and have emerged as vehicles for deep social change.
A growing body of research confirms that the presence of a GSA has a positive and lasting effect on student health, wellness, and academic performance. It can also protect students from harassment based on sexual orientation or gender identity, and improve school climates for all students in the long-term.

LINK CREW - FRESHMAN MENTOR PROGRAM
Link Crew is a student leadership program that pairs upper classmen leaders with freshmen. Link Leaders receive leadership training for 2 days in the summer and throughout the school year. These students put on freshmen orientation, freshman cougar hours, and various events for freshmen during the year.

MODEL UN
The objective of the Model United Nations is to seek, through discussion, negotiation and debate, solutions to the various problems of the world through participation in simulations. Students take on the role of a country and conference with other schools in the style of the UN.
Participation gives young people an insight into the world’s problems and enables them to understand the causes of conflict between nations. The Model United Nations also offers students an excellent opportunity to expand, develop and put into practice their language skills.
Model UN will be meeting every Wednesday 2:30-3:30 PM
