Dear Thacher Families,


We said goodbye to our Kindergarteners this week. Kindergarten Field Day Photos. Next week is the last hurrah for everyone else.

Today's Field Day was amazing! Although we got a little wet in the afternoon, the whole day went off without a hitch thanks to the 40+ high schoolers who came to help out as well as our parent volunteers. Please peruse our 2024 Field Day Photos.

This Week in PE

Field Day is finally here! This past week focus has been for all classes to learn and practice some of the events they will see during field day. Our field day consists of a two hour long extravaganza. Students will rotate through the 12 stations spending roughly 10 minutes at each event. Fingers are crossed, the weather holds up and we have an awesome day being active and having fun for this school wide event.


Our kindergarten classes got a sneak peek of their own special kindergarten field day we had on Wednesday. Students participated in events such as GA-GA ball, drip drip drop, 9 square in the air, parachute games and a sponge relay! It was a great way for them to end the school year and we are excited to see them back again next year.


A special thank you to all of the parent volunteers and our 40 Attleboro High School students and teachers for your support and dedication to an awesome event we are so lucky to have here at Thacher. We would not be able to do it without you!

The first meeting of the local Grandparents Raising Grandchildren group is on June 13, 2024. Hosted by the Attleboro Family Resource Center, the goal of this supportive group is to gather grandparents who are raising grandchildren to connect, provide support and resources, and learn that they are not alone.
