Important Dates to Note

Feb. 1-12: Window for parents and guardians to take the paper version of the Panorama Survey; the online version will remain open after this date.

Feb. 3: Summative English Learner Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC) parent/guardian and student workshop takes place at Roosevelt from 6-7:30pm.

Feb. 10: Lincoln's Day, no school

Feb. 12: District Migrant Advisory Committee meeting takes place from 6-8pm at Sherwood.

Feb. 12: Community resource fair and immigration forum takes place starting at 5pm at Alisal High School (resource fair, 5pm; discussion, 6-7:30pm). Virtual viewing option available, see details below.

Feb. 14: After School Program Sing Along at all sites, 5:15-6pm.

Feb. 17: President's Day, no school.

Feb. 19: District English Learner Advisory Committee meeting takes place from 6:15-8pm at the District Office.

Resource Fair & Immigration Information Meeting

Spring Into Fun with Spring Intersession Camp

The Extended Learning Department is planning an exciting Spring Intersession Camp, a free-full-day camp taking place over the District's Spring Break in March. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included, and it promises to be a week of learning, sports and games, and creative fun, all centered on the topic of agriculture and how our food is grown and harvested.


Please see the flyers below for information on locations, times and how to register. Registration is open, and we ask that you reserve your spot today. All students will receive transportation from their school of resident to the school hosting camp.

Your Opinion Counts: Complete the City of Salinas Budget Survey

The City of Salinas is requesting input as it plans its 2025-2026 budget. This survey is an opportunity for community members to share their priorities and help inform the City's financial decisions for the upcoming fiscal year.


All responses are reviewed and the results are shared with the public and the Council. The survey will remain open until Feb. 28. You may access the survey at this link: https://www.cityofsalinas.org/News/2025-2026-Budget
