Track season is in full swing, and Soccer season is just about to begin! Be sure to come out and cheer on your Falcons:

• Boys/Girls District Track Meet on March 25th and 26th
• Boys Soccer 7th and 8th grade starts on March 1st from 3-5pm
• Girls Soccer 8th grade starts on March 18th at 6am. 7th grade soccer starts March 20th at 6am

Hi! My name is Rachel Bloom. This is my seventh year teaching, and my 4th year at Woodridge Forest Middle School. I received my bachelor's degree from The University of Texas at Arlington. I also earned a master's degree from UTA in social work, and I keep my license current as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). I worked with many different populations during my social work career, including students in the school system, which led me to start my teaching career. I am married to Coach Bloom at Porter High School. We have 3 children, Violet (9), Camilla (7), and James (5). We are all so glad to be a part of the New Caney ISD family!

Hi! My name is Amanda Swader and this is my 4th year at WFMS. I currently teach 6th grade math. I graduated from University of Houston (Go Coogs!) in 2015. My husband and I have 3 wonderful boys and my boys love their Meme. I am grateful to be at WFMS!
