Message from Mr. Wright

Dear Fannie Fitzgerald Parents/Guardians, Students, and Staff:

As we head into Winter Break, I want to wish everyone a Happy Holidays and Joyful New Year. I would like to express my appreciation for the role you play in the education of our students. I want to thank our staff, parents, and families for all you’ve accomplished this year and for putting our students and their academic and social emotional learning needs at the forefront.

Winter Break is Monday, December 19, 2022, through Monday, January 2, 2023. There is no school and our school buildings will be closed. Staff will be unavailable during this time. School resumes on Tuesday, January 3, 2023.

Whichever holiday you celebrate, please accept my best wishes for a winter break filled with warm moments and special memories. I hope you can take time to relax, recharge, connect with those you cherish, and enjoy the holiday season. I wish you good health and the hope that 2023 is an amazing year for all that are part of our Fannie Fitzgerald learning community.

Fannie W. Fitzgerald Elementary 3rd graders Present: "Anansi the Spider"

When: Thursday, January 19, 2023

Where: Fitzgerald Gymnasium Time: 7:00 pm

Anansi is a folk-hero to the Ashanti. This funny fellow is a rogue, a wise and loveable trickster. He tumbles into many troubles. Third graders will present their interpretation of one of his many adventures. Each class has worked hard to create this show for you. Within each class there is partner and small group work.

Fitzgerald Elementary Presents: Monthly Mystery Reader Night

Thank you to all the students, families, and staff that joined our last "Mystery Reader" night. We had over 230 attendees! We look forward to our next Mystery Reader Night in January!
