Assignments Not Saving

Use the Maintain Teacher Gradebook Category Entry Point under the Teacher Menu to verify that your assignment names are unique per grading cycle.

You CANNOT create an assignment with the exact Assignment Name as another assignment per grading cycle.

If a teacher attempts to add assignments that are spelled the exact same way in the same grading cycle, the second assignment with the same assignment name will not save.

Example:

Assignment Name #1: Weekly Quiz --- This assignment will save.

Assignment Name #2: Weekly Quiz --- This assignment will not save.

If you have repetitive assignments within a grading cycle, you can add a number or letter anywhere in the Assignment Name.

Examples:

Assignment Name #1: Week 1 Quiz

Assignment Name #2: Week 2 Quiz

Assignment Name #1: Weekly Quiz A

Assignment Name #2: Weekly Quiz B

⚠ Some teachers may not run into this issue if the Assignment Name is spelled the same BUT the case sensitivity for some letters are different. This example is considered unique because the Assignment Name field is case sensitive.
