LORI Grant Projects Announced
Seven LORI Project Grants and six LORI Mini-Grants have been awarded to public and school libraries across Rhode Island to execute creative and impactful projects that will improve or expand library services. Congratulations to all recipients!
Summer Reading Program Grant Applications Now Open
The annual non-competitive Summer Reading Program Grant is open for requests!
Libraries hosting summer reading programs (regardless of theme used) can apply for up to $600 for youth activities and an additional $300 for adult activities. Request forms have been sent to each public library's Summer Reading Contact on file and are due back to OLIS by March 18.

Become a Medicaid Community Advocate
The state needs your help sharing vital information to Medicaid recipients to get those eligible enrolled or to renew their coverage. Here's how you can help:
- Share information on your social media, newsletters, and other outlets
- All the graphics and language you need in multiple languages are available.
- Talk to your community partners to make sure they know about this information and resources
- Invite a Medicaid Mobile Navigator to community events. They can directly support families in need

March 28: Sharing Visions Virtual Conference
Sharing Visions, a joint effort by the New England State Library Agencies, presents the Sharing Visions 2024 Virtual Conference from 1:00-3:30pm via Zoom on Thursday, March 28, 2024. This conference brings together library practitioners and others interested in resource sharing developments for learning and sharing.
