This morning, our administrative team and I had the pleasure of meeting with over 100 parents and guardians at our first Principal's Coffee of the year! Your presence and engagement were truly appreciated, and we look forward to partnering with you throughout your student(s)'s journey over the next four years. A special thanks to Gunn PTSA for generously sponsoring today's event.
We firmly believe that some of the most valuable resources (for parents) are fellow parents. We encourage you to join us for both Back to School Night, next Thursday, and the first PTSA Parent Social of the year, hosted by the Parent Networks of all four grades.

Just a reminder: If your student will be arriving late or leaving early (for an appointment or any other reason), please notify the attendance office as soon as possible, preferably by the day before. Fall Sports Parent Info Night

Bol Park Bike Path Closure: 8/19-9/16
Important Notice:
For safety reasons related to the construction of lighting on the bike path, a 2000-foot section of the path has been temporarily closed to bikers and pedestrians. Please refer to the attached map for possible detours. The Georgia cut-through and Los Robles gate remain open for southbound traffic. The closure is located just north of the Los Robles gate.

New Student Orientation Highlights
We were thrilled to welcome our new Titans on August 12! During orientation, students had the opportunity to meet their SELF mentors, take campus tours with their Titan Ambassadors, participate in a spirited yell competition with Gunn's Cheerleading team, explore a vibrant club fair on the senior quad, and much more!
First week happenings!
Gunn Staff's Exciting First Week!
We kicked off our school year with a fantastic start!
On Monday, August 12, we gathered for a Welcome Back Kick-Off breakfast, generously co-hosted by our wonderful PTSA. We enjoyed reconnecting over summer stories, discussed our site and PAUSD goals, and celebrated staff members marking 10, 15, 20, and 25 years of service. It was an energizing start to the new school year.
On Wednesday, August 14, we welcomed our students back with enthusiasm. Gunn seniors made a grand entrance dressed as royalty and led their class cheer on the quad before the first day of school.
Our admin team then hosted two assemblies on Thursday, August 15, where we shared a bit about ourselves and our excitement for the year ahead with our students.
The week wrapped up with a shorter school day on Friday, August 16, culminating in our 2nd Annual Welcome Back Carnival, organized by our fantastic Student Executive Council. Students enjoyed games, music, food, trivia, and much more. A big thank you to our amazing staff and parent volunteers for their support!
