MESSAGE FROM THE DEAN OF STUDENTS
Dear Sailor Families,
This year is off to a great start and we’ve seen students demonstrate leadership in many areas of the building. We would like to share a tool we’re implementing across our school to support positive behavior and ensure a safe and respectful learning environment for all students. As part of our ongoing commitment to creating a consistent approach to behavior expectations, we are introducing a Behavior Flowchart that outlines how behaviors will be addressed across all school settings.
How Will This Help Students?
The flowchart helps students feel more secure because they will know what to expect from staff in different situations.
It encourages positive behavior and self-regulation by reinforcing consistent responses to common challenges.
By having a shared understanding of expectations and consequences, students will feel more confident navigating their school day.
Staff will use the process of the flowchart as behavior situations arise. You can help by discussing it at home. When families and the school work together, we build a strong community that supports all our students in growing academically and socially.
Thank you for your support in helping us maintain a positive learning environment for everyone! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Mrs. Meisinger
