Warrior Weekly News
A Weekly Newsletter for Warrior Families and Students
September 6, 2024
Greetings Warrior Families and Friends,
Wow! What an exciting start to the school year. Our students arrived on Tuesday ready to make this school year a special year. They were greeted by new spaces, some new faces, and teachers excited to engage every student.
One of my favorite parts of the school year is the first week as the energy is through the roof. But for me, its seeing new leaders emerge that really gets me fired up. MHS is blessed to have great leaders to set the culture in the school. These leaders show our new students what it means to be a Warrior. They show students how to treat each other, how to care for the school, and how important it is to seize the opportunity to learn and be involved. This year's leaders are doing a great job demonstrating what makes MHS a great school. It has been a joy to see.
Please take note of the sections dedicated to Homecoming and to Distracted Driving included below. We want all of our students engaged and safe every day.
Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
Go, WARRIORS!

Safe Driving Video
Looking ahead, we will be sharing a video created by our FBLA students to help students better understand the need to make safe choices while driving. The video will be shown during Homecoming Week (Tuesday, September 10) to serve as a strong reminder about safety.
Know that we want all of our students to be safe and understand the power of choices as they are learning to drive and gaining experience behind the wheel. Please reach out to your student's counselor if you have any concerns with the video being shown to your student.
