A Note From Mr. Christ
Dear Paddock Families,
I hope you are all having a nice weekend. I want to extend a huge congratulations to Mr. Zielinski and the entire cast of Super Friends. The hard work and long hours they put in, over the last few months, came together to make a fantastic performance! It truly amazes me how these 4th, 5th, and 6th graders can memorize their lines, songs, dances, and cues, while pushing aside any stage fright, to put on such a great show. Bravo to all of the performers and thank you to Mr. Zielinski. His dedication to these shows and the arts as a whole makes Paddock a better school and provides amazing experiences for our students. The Paddock community can't thank you enough.

PantherFest
Our family fun fair Panther Fest is back and needs some volunteer help! If you're interested in volunteering, please do via the SignUp Genius below. There are time slots as short as 30 minutes to make cotton candy, distribute wristbands, sell raffle tickets and MORE! Your help is greatly appreciated!
This event takes so many hands to make it work, but that is why it's one of our favorites!

Student Registration 2023-2024
Online student registration for the 2023-2024 school year is open. Please visit the District registration page to start this process. All returning students MUST be registered by August 1, 2023, or they will be disenrolled from CCSD15. Students who have not completed their registration requirements will not receive a classroom assignment.
After you register your child online you need to:
- Pay student fees. Our student fee webpage provides more information on this.
- New families to the district, kindergarten students, families with a lease, and families that were flagged by our third-party residency verification system are required to provide proof of residency to complete the registration process. Our residency webpage outlines the documents you will need to provide to prove residency.
All three steps of the enrollment process (register, student fees, residency) must be completed prior to the start of the school year.

Paddock Yard Signs
For the very first time, the Paddock PTA is offering yard signs to all of our families! Let's show off our Paddock Pride all year long! Each yard sign purchase is $15 and comes with yard stakes so they can be immediately put on display. If you would like to see examples of our signs the PTA will have a booth set up at Pantherfest. Please stop by and take a look!
Please note, there is a separate order form for 6th graders ONLY. This is on the top half of the flyer. The bottom half of the flyer is for the "We Heart Paddock" sign.

Plastic Recycling Program
Last year, we collected A LOT of plastic. This year, to make things even more interesting, Paddock will be competing with Gray M. Sanborn to see which school can collect the most plastic in pounds. The winner will not only have bragging rights, but also a trophy to display! We are hoping this will be a fun competition between the schools for years to come.
Please see the flyer for more information and examples of acceptable plastics that can be brought to the school and placed in these bins.

Book Fair
We are pleased to announce that Paddock will host a spring book fair with Literati! Classroom previews will be April 27th and 28th and books will be for sale May 1-3 including during Open House the evening of May 3rd.

One-Five Foundation Walk/Run
Join the one-five Foundation for its first-ever Family Fun Run/Walk! The event will be on May 20 at Winston Campus Junior High (120 N. Babcock Drive Palatine) at 9 am. The Family Fun Run/Walk is open to anyone in our community. Profits from the Fun Run/Walk will go toward the one-five’s teacher mini-grant program. These grants can support a wide range of opportunities for the students of the District with a focus on programs or technology.
$5 for D15 students (including registered incoming students)
$15 for Adults and Non-D15 Students
Children ages 4 and under are free
Health Office
