We had such a great time during our visit from the San Diego Seals, our city’s professional box lacrosse team. The players taught all our students some Lacrosse skills and had a so much fun playing against some of our fourth graders!

Do you want to see the team in action? Every Empresa student will each be provided with a free ticket to the 3:00 game on December 1st courtesy of UCSD Health. They team will be honoring Mrs. Hoyo, Empresa's amazing PE teacher during the game. To redeem your child’s free ticket or to purchase additional tickets click HERE and the Free Ticket Promo Code for one student ticket is EMPRESA. 20% of proceeds of additional tickets purchased will be donated to Empresa Elementary.

It's almost time to open the doors to Empresa's Holiday Shop! Students will be coming home with their Holiday Shop envelope on Monday, 12/2. If your student will be participating, be sure to complete and return their envelope with payment no later than Friday, 12/6.

Volunteer spots are now open! Check out the days and times we can use your help and sign up to be a Shop Helper this winter season.

As the cooler weather approaches, we continue to accumulate jackets and sweatshirts. Have your student check our lost and found during their recess time. Parents can also look through the items during Friday Flag assembly. All unclaimed items will be donated December 20th.

If your child is interested they can keep practicing all the Holiday Show songs during break. Here is a link to the google classroom with lyrics and music to practice
