Last Week of 24-25

Caps Off to the Class of 2025!
San Marcos High School graduation was held on Friday, May 23, marking a significant milestone for the Class of 2025. As the graduates walked across the stage to receive their diplomas, they were celebrated for years of hard work, dedication, and personal growth. Strahan Arena was filled with excitement, pride, and heartfelt emotions as students reflected on their high school journey and looked ahead to new beginnings. Huge Shoutout to the family members, friends, and teachers who helped honor all Rattlers! It was a memorable afternoon that symbolizes both the end of one chapter and the start of another. We wish you all the best!

Robing Ceremony
Wednesday, May 21 was full of proud moments at the annual Robing Ceremony. For students, it marks the culmination of hard work and the transition into a new chapter. For teachers, it’s the honor of guiding, mentoring, and celebrating a Rattler’s journey to success!
United for Students: SMCISD and School Fuel Under One Roof
On Monday, May 19, we celebrated more than the opening of a new facility — we marked a milestone for San Marcos CISD and a renewed investment in our district’s future. The Felipe Reyna Administration Building is the central hub for supporting our students, teachers, staff, and families. Named in honor of Felipe Reyna — a role model, leader, and champion for education — the building stands as a symbol of progress and a promise to lead future Rattlers with purpose and passion.
Similar in mission, the nonprofit organization School Fuel, which is dedicated to supporting students' nutritional needs, was recognized as an essential partner and is now housed alongside the Felipe Reyna Administration Building. Thank you to the volunteers who work to ensure food insecurities are minimized.
A Walk to Remember
On Thursday, May 22 the San Marcos High School Class of 2025 walked the halls of SMHS one last time — celebrating memories made, friendships formed, and the bright futures ahead. Farewell to all graduates, you are prepared and we wish you all the best!
