Coming January 2025: New Help Desk
Our help ticket system, Web Help Desk, is currently experiencing technical difficulties regarding email sending, and is not functioning properly.
To address this issue and improve our support services, we are excited to announce that we will be implementing a new help ticket system called Incident IQ in January 2025. This new system offers several benefits, including:
- Ease of Use: A user-friendly interface for submitting and tracking tickets.
- Improved Efficiency: Faster response times and streamlined resolution processes.
- Enhanced Communication: Clearer communication between users and technicians.
We will provide more details about the transition to Incident IQ in the coming months, including resources to help you familiarize yourself with the new system.

5 New Features in BookCreator
Who doesn’t love a fun feature drop?
Below are four fantastic updates to Book Creator that are all about taking creativity to the next level in your classroom!
Zoom Magic – Published books now come with zooming capabilities in read mode! Readers can easily zoom in and out to catch every detail.
Image Editing with the Pen Tool – You can now edit images right on your pages, using the pen tool to add your own personal touch to visuals!
Transparency Slider – Adjust the transparency of text, images, and more to create custom looks that suit your style!
Background Remover – This might be my favorite update! Now you can remove backgrounds from images in a snap. Just imagine placing a cat on a tropical beach or a selfie with a concert backdrop!
Curious to see these in action? Feel free to schedule a meeting with Nick or Eric to learn how to integrate Book Creator in Your Classroom!
Using Padlet to Increase Reading Fluency
This month, Nick Davidson our Instructional Technology Teacher and Gisela Armbruster, Special Education Teacher at Victor Intermediate School, paired up to show colleagues how to use Padlet as a way for students to record themselves reading.
Padlet offers a dynamic platform to enhance students' reading fluency. Teachers can create a dedicated Padlet wall where students can record themselves reading aloud. This visually engaging space encourages students to share their progress and receive feedback. By listening to their own recordings, students can identify areas for improvement, such as pacing, pronunciation, and expression. Additionally, peers can provide constructive comments and support, fostering a collaborative learning environment. This interactive approach to reading practice empowers students to take ownership of their learning and develop confidence in their reading abilities.
