A Message from Mrs. Belcher:
Stewart families,
Fall is in the air and school is off to a wonderful start! We are so PROUD of our Mustangs and all that they have accomplished so far. Students are learning routines, procedures, and are engaged in new content.
Thank you to everyone who came out to our Watch D.O.G.S. Kick-Off Event! If you are interested in volunteering, please see the details below.
The morning arrival car rider line is finishing by 7:55 a.m. Any students who arrive after car rider staff have come into the building, will need to be accompanied by an adult. For safety, adults should park and walk their child into school. Please be sure to sign students in at the front desk. Students arriving after car rider staff have come into the building will be counted tardy. Please refer to the car rider information linked under this note for more information regarding maroon and blue lane traffic flow.
As a reminder, there is no car rider or golf cart drop off at the back bus ramp without an approved green tag. These tags are approved for special circumstances only. All bikes should be parked at the bike racks. Please do not park any bikes in the bus lane. Also, please do not park in the parking lot at Children's Lighthouse to walk your child to school. This parking lot is needed for their childcare. Please do not block their parking lot when waiting in the car rider line. We appreciate your help with this.
Thank you for a GREAT start to the school year!
Have a fabulous week,
Kristen Belcher, Principal

Parent Portal: NEW
Parents/Guardians:
We are looking forward to a great school year. In an effort to help our parents, we are moving to a Parent Portal for parents to access information about their child. You will login similar to the way your child does for school (similar to the SSO) to access school information. All parents/guardians will need to enroll to create an account. You will need the email address that is in your child’s record. Once you enter the email, you will be prompted to create a password.
Please click Parent Portal Directions to for instructions or go to Conroe ISD Webpage then Parents/Students to access the link to the Parent Portal.
We hope that you enjoy this transition to a new and convenient platform.
Sincerely,
Conroe ISD Technology
Stewart Dress Code:
As you begin back to school clothes shopping, please keep the dress code below in mind. Students must abide by the dress code at all times.
Dress Code:
Dress codes are established to teach grooming and hygiene, prevent disruptions, minimize safety hazards, and to maintain a positive learning environment. The District prohibits pictures, emblems, or writings on clothing that are any of the following: lewd, violent, suggestive, offensive, vulgar or obscene, or advertise or depict tobacco products, alcoholic beverages, drugs, or any other substance prohibited under FNCF (LEGAL).
- Shorts, dresses, and skirts must be mid-thigh length. Some popular athletic wear does not meet this requirement.
- Students should be able to raise their arms without the midriff showing.
- Tank tops must be the width of three fingers.
- Halter tops, muscle shirts, and spaghetti strap tops are not permitted unless covered by another shirt.
- Jeans with rips or holes may be worn if the holes are below mid-thigh or covered with a patch.
- Students must wear closed toe shoes with a back. No Crocs or Slides as students attend P.E. daily.
- Work out type yoga pants or leggings are allowed ONLY if the length of the shirt/top reaches the top of the thigh.
- Undergarments should not be visible.
- Hair and hairstyles should not cause a distraction.
- Hats may ONLY be worn on designated days.
- Make-up should not be worn or applied at school.
Staff will monitor that students adhere to the dress code. If a student is out of dress code, a staff member will have a discussion with the student. The student's teacher will notify the child's parent. Students will be asked to change clothes. After multiple offenses, students will be seen by a school administrator and the parent contacted. A school consequence may be assigned.

- Every visitor to the campus must sign in at the front office. Be prepared to show a government issued ID to visit the campus.
- All visitors must wear a school issued badge the entire time they are on campus.
- Visitor badges will state the area of the building they will visit. Any visitor seen in a different part of the building will be directed back to the front office.
- All volunteers must sign-up to "Volunteer in CISD." Below is the Volunteer Link: CISD Volunteer (conroeisd.net)
- Visitors and volunteers are expected to follow all safety protocols established by the state, district and campus.
- All substitute teachers are required to be trained on campus safety procedures before entering the classroom.
- All staff members are required to wear a school district issued badge throughout the school day.
- Staff members, other district employees, visitors, and volunteers shall never prop open a school door.
- All visitors and volunteers must participate in campus drills if on campus during a drill.
