Superintendent's Message
A Note From Dr. Zito
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As the school year draws to a close, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support and partnership throughout this academic year. The last day of school, June 24, 2025, is fast approaching, and with it comes the promise of summer—a time for relaxation, rejuvenation, and reflection.
This year has been filled with remarkable achievements, growth, and resilience from our students, educators, and families. Together, we've navigated challenges and celebrated successes, always with a shared commitment to our children's education and well-being. As we transition into summer, I hope each of you finds time to unwind and cherish moments with your loved ones.
While summer is a time for fun and leisure, it's also an excellent opportunity for continued learning. Encouraging your children to read during these months can significantly benefit their academic progress and foster a lifelong love of reading. Whether it's exploring new worlds through novels, discovering facts in non-fiction books, or enjoying the latest comics, every page turned contributes to their growth and imagination.
Safety is another essential aspect of a happy summer. Please remind your children to stay safe while enjoying outdoor activities. Whether they are swimming, biking, or simply playing with friends, a few simple precautions can ensure their well-being. Sun protection, hydration, and understanding road and water safety rules are key to a fun and secure summer break.
In closing, I wish you all a peaceful, relaxing, and wonderful summer. Take this time to recharge, create beautiful memories, and prepare for the exciting year ahead. Thank you once again for your continued support and dedication to our school community. I look forward to seeing our students return in the fall, refreshed and ready for new adventures in learning.
Yours in education,
Dr. Zito

Parent Square
Dear Families,
We are excited to announce that we adopted a new form of school-to-home communication at Hamilton Township School District called Parent Square. We will transition to this platform in September. This unified communications platform is designed to keep parents and guardians informed and encourage greater engagement and connection with our schools. It provides a safe way for district administrators, school principals, teachers, staff, and parents to:
Send and receive school and class information
Share pictures and files
See calendar items
Sign up to volunteer
Schedule parent-teacher conferences
and much more . . . all in one centralized place!
All district and school, grade level and classroom information will now be sent to your computer or phone via email and/or text. For even more convenience, download the Parent Square app (available for free for iOS and Android devices).
Have questions? Click the question mark in the top right corner of the desktop version or the Help tab on the app (tap the triple bar icon at the top left) to find answers to most of your questions.
Dragon Choice Awards 2025
William Davies Middle School had their Dragon's Choice Awards Ceremony last week and the Dragon Network News was there to film the event. These awards are given to students who may not be eligible for academic or sports awards but have solidified their place in their teacher's hearts as exceptional students. Please see the video to hear the wonderful things the teachers said about these kids.
