There is just under one month until the start of school, and we are so excited! I want to assure you that our dedicated staff is working diligently to create a supportive and enriching learning environment for your children. We are finalizing plans for an exciting school year filled with opportunities for learning and growth, both academically and personally.

In the interest of data privacy and student safety, over the summer months, while students are not with teachers on a daily basis, students currently will not have access to Google Apps that include (Google Classroom, Google Drive and Docs, Google Sites, and Gmail).

Please note: these settings DO NOT APPLY to students who are participating in our summer school programs and summer virtual book clubs.

We understand that there might be a need for these apps over the summer months for your student. If you would like for your child to have access to Google Apps, please complete this form.

Please note students will still have access to BrainPop, Clever, EPIC, GALE, PebbleGo, Seesaw, SORA, WeVideo, and other curricular sites that were available during the school year for your student.

The construction and custodial crews are making great progress around the building:

Classrooms are getting refreshed

Hallway lockers have been installed

Cafeteria is ready to go, and now is being used as a holding area for all the teacher's materials being delivered

The transportation department is currently "routing" our students and will share specific information in mid-to late August. An email was sent on 8/7/24 with some general information about Transportation. We will keep you informed as soon as we have more information to share.

Our school supply list can be found on the District 15 website. Each middle school student will be provided an assignment notebook and small bag on their first day of school

Welcome to TJMS PTSA. We are working hard to set up this year to be filled with fun that will be inclusive for all students who are coming to TJMS. With this being the inaugural year for TJMS, we have a rare opportunity to create this organization to be what we want it to be.

Please JOIN US as we begin making those impactful decisions with our student body in mind. If you are looking to get involved, there are many areas where we could use some parental help. A couple of open committees are; New Student Welcome, Membership, Restaurant Nights, 8th Grade events, Teacher Appreciation Week, WOW day (aka career day), Ways and Means (Aka Fundraising), and any other ideas that you may have to make this the best school in the district. We are open to any new idea, and anxious to start this year off strong with building community, and creating new traditions together.
