After Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin, collapsed on a televised game at 25 years old from suffering a cardiac arrest, anda team of first responders saved his life, we became aware and inspired to be prepared to protect any student, staff member, or visitor at Coleman MS from an emergency. With a partnership between our principal, a parent who is also a district clinic nurse, our clinic worker, and our district office staff we became involved with the program. We are proud to say that we now have a team of trained first responders in our building, made up of 14 teachers and other staff members.
