Canoe Camp Needs Your Help!
Canoe Camp Volunteers Needed!
PPCS 4th grade is looking for volunteers to assist with the canoe and paddle carving process this spring. Before the start of canoe camp, volunteers will be working with Dave Paul, expert paddle carver, to learn the method of carving a paddle. Volunteers will be asked to dedicate approximately 5 hours a week in a paddle carving workshop prior to instructing 4th graders on carving their paddles, and an additional two days a week to volunteer and instruct kids at canoe camp after your training has concluded. No experience required! We've collected enough cedar boards for the 4th graders to engage in this experience. Families are welcome to join us in this experience, but we ask that only 4th grade students carve paddles. Please reach out to Savanna or Dave Paul if you are interested or have any questions.

Don't Forget to Order Adventure Lunches
Remember, Adventure Friday sack lunch orders must be placed at least a week in advance through the link in your student's class Adventure Friday document. If you don't order a lunch and don't send one on the day of the adventure, we will need to call you to bring a lunch to your student. Email office@palouseprairieschool.org with questions or comments.
Last Week to Buy Great Coffee and Benefit our School!
Take Your Bag to the Coop for PPCS!
PPCS is one of the Moscow Food Coop's current Change for Good recipients! Change for Good is a community giving program of the Moscow Food Co-op that focuses on eliminating single-use items from the waste stream. For each reusable tote bag, reusable coffee mug or thermos, bulk container, produce bag, or EcoToGo box they bring in, customers are able to donate a “5-cent token,” up to 10 tokens, to one of three organizations selected by the Change for Good committee. PPCS will be a recipient through March, so remember you bag when you head to the Coop!
Intent to Returns in Your Inbox
All currently enrolled families should have received an Intent to Return form in their email Monday, 2/12. You'd think after 12 years, Trish would remember not to send these to families who only have students in 8th grade but once again she forgot. If your only student is graduating, please ignore. For all other students, please respond by Friday, 2/23. To enter students who are not currently enrolled in the lottery for 2024-2025, please complete the application here. Contact the office with questions.
Achievement Reports
Achievement Reports (AR's) are now available through the JumpRope grading platform. You can access your student's AR on JumpRope using your student google account with their Palouse Prairie email and password. Please let your teacher know if you have any questions.
