A Note from Your Principals
Attendance Celebrations!
In last month's attendance update, we challenged our families to help us prioritize regular attendance so we could finish the the school year strong...you delivered! The number of students considered "chronically absent" has dropped to 37, or 7.5% of our population! That is the second lowest we've been this year, and so close to our goal of 5% or less!
Kindergarten continues to have the largest number of students considered chronically absent, with 11. This number has remained constant since January.
Grade 5 continues to have the smallest number of students considered chronically absent, with 2. This is a decrease from 5 over the past few months!
In addition, we've seen the average percent of students in school each day, rise above 95% for the first time since January! And that's not all...our grade-level daily attendance is neck-in-neck with EVERY grade-level at 95% or greater!
As come nearer to the end of the school year, we want to remind you how essential regular attendance is for your child. Learning is still going strong, and we have exciting celebrations planned to wrap up the year!
Each day your child is present, they are actively engaging in valuable learning experiences that shape their future. From end-of-year performances to field day fun, every moment counts.
Let's finish the year strong together! Your child's consistent attendance ensures they don't miss out on these special moments and establishes a strong pattern and foundation for next year!
Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership!

Shout outs are a great way to express gratitude towards those who have made a positive impact in our lives. Whether it's a staff member, friend, student, or colleague, taking a moment to acknowledge and appreciate their contributions can strengthen relationships and bring our ET community closer together.
So, if you're feeling thankful for someone in your or your child's life, don't hesitate to give them a shout out! Go ahead, spread some love and appreciation to those who matter most to you.
