NEWBERY HONOR AWARD WINNER: Mexikid by Pedro Martin
Pedro Martín has grown up hearing stories about his abuelito—his legendary crime-fighting grandfather who was once a part of the Mexican Revolution! But that doesn’t mean Pedro is excited at the news that Abuelito is coming to live with their family. After all, Pedro has 8 brothers and sisters and the house is crowded enough! Still, Pedro piles into the Winnebago with his family for a road trip to Mexico to bring Abuelito home, and what follows is the trip of a lifetime, one filled with laughs and heartache.

"Fall" Into a Great Read!
Olivetti by by Allie Millington
This debut novel is written primarily from the perspective of a typewriter named Olivetti. He lives contentedly with the unique and wonderful Brindle family until Beatrice, the Brindles' mother, drops him off at a pawn shop. When Olivetti learns that Beatrice has gone missing, he types back to Ernest, Beatrice's twelve-year-old son, sharing Beatrice's memories and secrets to help find her. While the Brindles and Olivetti desperately search for Beatrice, they realize that something else has been missing from their family since The Everything That Happened, a mysterious event that changed the trajectory of their lives. I loved the quirky Brindles and found myself rooting for Ernest and Olivetti throughout this beautiful novel.
