Brantner Families,

Our office is now open from 7:30a-4:00p Tuesday-Friday! Feel free to call if you have any questions 720-685-5050. Below are a few details...

• The first day for students is Friday, August 9th! Watch out for more information regarding pick up and drop off.

• Drop off begins at 7:35 (7:35-7:50 Soft start).

• Late Bell rings at 7:50- Any students arriving after 7:50 need to be walked in by a parent to be excused. Any students arriving at or after 8:10 need to be signed in in the office vestibule.

• Breakfast starts at 7:25 - Students report to the cafeteria.

• Kinder and 1st grade pick up - students will be dismissed from their classes at 3:25

• 2nd-5th grade pick up - students will be dismissed from their classrooms at 3:30.

• The Back-to-School Newsletter will be emailed out August 1st.

• Change from last year: Last year we sent out newsletters weekly. We listened to feedback from parents and we will only be sending out school newsletters once at the beginning of each month. Teachers will still send out weekly communication each Monday.

• Teacher assignments (1st grade-5th grade) will be posted to the Infinite Campus Parent Portal at 5:00pm on August 5th. If you are a returning family to Brantner, you can use your IC login information from last year. If you are a new family to 27J, your student will receive their classroom assignment and information on how to set up an Infinite Campus account at Back to School Night.

• Please note, we do not accept parent requests for specific teachers as we believe in all of our teachers! When determining class placement, we follow a process which includes past teachers, support staff and data to ensure your student is placed in a classroom that best fits their needs. If there are extreme circumstances, please reach out to the office staff.

• Back To School Night is August 7th from 5:00p-7:00pm. Come join us for our open house where students can meet their teachers, see their classrooms and drop off their school supplies.

• The PTA is hosting a Kindergarten Play date on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at 5pm. Come meet some new friends and future classmates and play on the school playground! We look forward to seeing you!

• Kindergarten Camp - (Please keep a look out for more information from the Kindergarten team.) We are intentional about student placement, therefore we want to get to know your student prior to placing them with a teacher for the year. On the first day of school (August 9th) we will have students report for their first day. (Directions on where to meet will be communicated.) Each student will be assigned a color (team) and will rotate with their team throughout the day. Students will have a teacher placement starting August 13th.

• Preschool Families - Be on the lookout for communication from your teacher.

7/31/24: Kinder Playdate 5:00-7:00PM on the Brantner Playground. This is an opportunity for our Kindergartners to meet ne friends and for parents to connect (Teachers will not be present).

8/05/24: Teacher Assignments will be available in IC beginning at 5:00 PM.

8/07/24: Brantner "Meet the teacher" Open House from 5:00-7:00PM. Bring your school supplies, medications and for forms (for those needing them), and come meet your teacher.

8/09/2024: FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL for Kindergarten through 5th grade.

8/21/2024: First Day of Preschool! AM: 7:50-10:50 PM: 12:30-3:30
