Arrival and Dismissal Procedures
- No U-Turns: U-turns are not permitted along Morse Avenue.
- No LEFT turns: Left turns are not permitted when exiting campus during arrival and dismissal.
Arrival and Dismissal: Students will walk through gates to their classroom line-up spots where supervision is provided. Gates will open at 7:20 a.m., so we ask that students do not arrive before 7:20, as there is no supervision before that time. Gates will close at 7:50 a.m. everyday. Tardy students will enter campus through the front office.
Parking Lot and Neighborhood Safety: The safety and well-being of our students are our top priorities. We ask all families to follow safety rules when driving in our parking lot and to prioritize safety and courtesy. This will help ensure our parking lot runs smoothly each day and remains a safe place for everyone.
Dismissal Procedures:
- TK and Kindergarten: All TK and Kindergarten students must be picked up at the TK/Kindergarten playground gate by an adult.
- 1st - 6th Grade: Students in grades 1-6 can be picked up either in the valet or in front of the school.
- Walkers: Parents of walkers can wait at the crosswalk or in front of the school.
- Valet Pickup: Students using valet will be escorted to a safe line-up spot and will wait to be called based on their valet pick-up number. Cars will be loaded three (3) at a time. To speed up this process, please create a sign with your student’s name and grade and place it on the passenger side of your dashboard. You may include multiple children on one sign. An optional template is available.
- Bus Zone: Do not park, stop, or unload in the bus zone on Morse Avenue.
- No U-Turns: U-turns are not permitted along Morse Avenue.
- No LEFT turns: Left turns are not permitted when exiting campus during arrival and dismissal.
Important Events
Report an Absence
Please remember the importance of letting our office know if your child will be absent or late so we can keep our records up to date and ensure everyone's safety. Impact on Future Success: Consistent attendance is a strong predictor of academic achievement and future opportunities.
Building Resilience: Regular attendance teaches your child the value of perseverance and responsibility—essential skills for success in life.
Stronger Friendships: Daily presence helps your child develop and sustain friendships, which are crucial for emotional and social development.
Healthy Routine: Attending school every day establishes a stable routine, promoting better mental and physical health.
