WEEKLY MESSAGE

Hello Mustang Family,

We hope you are all doing well and ready for another productive week. As we wrap up the first 9 weeks of the school year, we want to send a friendly reminder about our school expectations regarding being on time to class and prepared for learning. These are the same expectations we outlined in our assemblies at the start of the year.

We also want to take a moment to acknowledge our great attendance so far this year! As of October 14, 2024, our attendance rate is at 93.1%, compared to 89.5% in 2024. This is a fantastic improvement of 3.6% in daily attendance. Keep up the great work, Mustangs!

Tardies:

You must arrive to all classes on time and be prepared to learn.
You have 5 minutes to transition from one class to another. After the bell rings, you will be marked tardy.
Excessive tardies will result in consequences such as in-school suspension.
An announcement will be made and teachers will lock their classroom doors. No students will be allowed to enter for the remainder of the period.

Any students still in the hallway will be redirected to the cafeteria for a tardy round-up. During this time:

Students will check in and remain in the cafeteria for the duration of the period.
Personal electronic devices will not be permitted, but students will have the opportunity to work on any assignments or schoolwork.

10/10 Rule and Hall Passes:

You are not allowed to be in the halls during the first 10 or last 10 minutes of class. This time is dedicated to clearing the halls and ensuring campus safety.
If you are in the halls, you must have a pink pass or hall pass and wear your student ID.
If you do not have a pass, you will be asked to return to class.

Additionally, the first 9-week report card is now available to view in the Home Access Center (HAC). Please take some time to review it, and let’s continue working together to ensure a successful school year.
