Principal Note
Dear RedHawk Parents and Guardians,
As winter break approaches, it’s the perfect time to do some fun activities that bring the family together and spark creativity without relying on technology. Here are some ideas to keep your middle schooler active and connected:
Game Night Fun: Dust off those board games or card games for an evening of friendly competition. Games like Monopoly, Uno, or Scrabble can be both fun and educational!
Kitchen Creations: Involve your child in cooking or baking. Let them help plan a meal, measure ingredients, or decorate cookies for a hands-on learning experience.
Outdoor Adventures: Bundle up and explore a local park, go sledding, or take a walk to enjoy the winter scenery. Fresh air and movement are great for everyone.
DIY Crafts: Work on a creative project together, like making homemade ornaments, painting, or creating vision boards for the new year.
Family Book Club: Pick a book to read as a family and discuss it over hot cocoa. This is a great way to inspire a love of reading and build connections.
Wishing you and your family a very Happy Holiday Season. Enjoy this special time with your family, and we look forward to seeing everyone back at school in the new year!

Notes From The Office
Your Child’s Schedule May Change for Quarter Three
We understand that schedule changes can have an impact on students, and we strive to minimize disruptions as much as possible. However, in certain instances, adjustments are necessary to ensure the smooth functioning of our academic environment. These adjustments serve various purposes, including balancing class sizes, accommodating new students joining our school community, moving students in and out of interventions, and addressing behavioral challenges by creating separate schedules.
Please plan to check HAC the afternoon of Monday, January 6th. Any schedule changes will be posted in HAC directly in HAC. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.
WMS - Fragrance Free
We need your help. We have many individuals with allergies and asthma. As a result, we are asking that students not use perfume or cologne at school. For those with allergies and asthma, these various scents can be a trigger and can cause an attack. When students shower regularly and use deodorant, they should not have a need for cologne or perfume at school. Please have a conversation regarding this topic with your RedHawk(s). Thank you for helping us keep students & staff safe and healthy at Wredling!
WMS Girls Basketball Registration
Girls Basketball Registration is now open via our new Wredling Athletics page. It will remain open until Monday, January 6 2025. Students must be registered by January 6th with a current physical on file in order to try out for the team. The athletic fee for basketball is $135.00. Please do not pay the fee until your child has made the team.

D303 Happenings
Dear Future Saints Families,
We are thrilled to invite you to Freshman AP Night on January 15th at 5:45 p.m. in the Little Theater, a special event designed to introduce you to the exciting Advanced Placement (AP) opportunities available to your incoming freshman at St. Charles East High School.
Prior to the beginning of Future Saints Night, this session will provide valuable insights into:
- The differences between AP World History and AP Human Geography—two dynamic options for freshman social studies.
- The benefits of starting the AP journey early and how it prepares students for college and beyond.
- The prestigious AP Capstone Diploma program and how your student can earn this distinguished recognition.
Our team will also answer common questions about the AP Program and share how these courses help students build skills for success.
Don’t miss this opportunity to help your student make an informed decision and start their high school journey on the right track!
For more details, please see the attached flyer. We look forward to meeting you at Freshman AP Night and helping your student unlock their full potential.
Warm regards,
Andy Ehrhardt
