As a reminder, if you haven't completed Returning Student Registration, please do so ASAP. We have roughly 200 students that have not been registered yet. This is essential for class placements, scheduling of students and allocation of staff.

Our K-2nd graders had a fantastic LAMPE Day on Wednesday! The weather made for a great afternoon filled with fun activities, including a second fox mural! Thank you to our specials teachers, classroom teachers and all our parent volunteers for making it such a memorable day even though it had to be rescheduled.

We had so much fun this last week of school! Between field trips for 1st, 2nd, and 5th grades, grade level luaus, and classroom celebrations, our students are sure to have positive memories of this year!

While I cannot believe it is the last day of school in the '23-'24 school year, I am so proud of our students and staff for all they've accomplished. We've shown the Ferson Way throughout this school year and I encourage everyone to be kind, respectful, responsible learners even when they are outside of the walls of Ferson.

To all of our families who are leaving Ferson due to the boundary changes, we have gifted your family with a book. This should have come home with one of your children yesterday. You will always be a Ferson Fox!

Congratulations to Aliya Rossi as she is a 2024 recipient of the Nick Demarco award from Bernie's Book Bank. Nominated by her teacher, Aliya shows tremendous kindness, integrity, and teamwork along with a passion for literacy. Congratulations, Aliya!

Welcome Back Day will be held on Monday, August 12th from 4:00-6:00 pm. This will be your opportunity to meet teachers and drop off school supplies. New this year, Welcome Back Day will also be our picture day! If you cannot make this event, there will still be a retake day in the fall.

Zearn and iReady are both available for students to use through the summer. These are great tools to help students continue their learning during the summer months. Please see the flyers below for directions on accessing both tools.

The elementary school intra-district transfer request window opens on May 15, 2024.

1. All D303 students are entitled to a FREE student loan card from the St. Charles Public Library. Phone the SCPL to renew an existing card or obtain a new card at 630-584-0076. Click for more information.

We are in the home stretch--summer is right around the corner! As you begin to fill up your summer with activities and vacations, you should consider our very own D303 Summer Strings Camp!

This camp will be for orchestra students who are currently in grades 3 - 8. Camp will be June 17,18, 20 and June 24, 25, 26 and 27 in the evenings at Thompson Middle School.
