Our staff and students in Egg Harbor Township Schools are keeping busy creating, performing and responding to the Arts with an emphasis on Student Achievement, Community Engagement and #EHTPRIDE

Congratulations to the Alder Ave. Middle School Choir and Show Choir on their GOLD MEDAL ratings at the Six Flags

Music Festival!

In addition to their excellent scores, 8th grader Lillee Scuderi was named as Outstanding Solosist!

After their performance, the students had an onstage clinic with one of the adjudicators, Mr. @Charlie Paul (ret. Hammonton HS) and then spent the day enjoying sunshine and roller coasters!

EHT Schools - Transportation Dept!!!!

The EHTHS Thespian Troupe presented their end of the year showcase by going down memory lane!

Our current students paid a wonderful and nostalgia tribute to past musicians and actors and performed highlights from EHTHS shows from 1993-to the present!

The audience enjoyed selections from Peter Pan into the Woods, grease Jesus Christ Superstar, Pippin, Shrek, Joseph and many more to the delight of the audience.

Thank you to our dedicated advisors, Mr. Kevin Mccafferty, and and Mrs. Margo Schoeffel for working with our students to make this season and this event so meaningful. #ehtpride

A GREAT Night for the Arts in EHTNJ Schools - Egg Harbor Township School District!

Congratulations to the members of our Miller 5th grade beginner Orchestra and our Alder & Fernwood Middle School Orchestras on a successful Spring Concert!

We are so full of #ehtpride that 260+ students in grades 5-8 are involved in our strings program!!

Thanks so much to our dedicated directors, Ms. @Sam Sara, Ms. Kate Wyatt and Ms. Jenna DiSalvio for making EHT the biggest and best school-orchestra program in Atlantic, Cape May or Cumberland counties!!!

Thank you also to EHT Schools - Transportation for making sure our musicians arrive at rehearsals & events so quickly and safely!!!

Our EHTHS Thespian Troupe came to visit our Kindergarten Theater classes at Swift School today.

Oir high school students acted out short stories they created based on tales & fables and with an emphasis on good citizenship!

Tomorrow, our Davenport Kindergarten students will get to experience this as well!

The clever idea was an awesome collaboration amongst our HS Thespian Advisors- Mr. Mccafferty and Mrs. Schoeffel and our Kindergarten Theater Teacher, Mr. Aponte! #ehtpride

Another Great Night for the Arts in EHTNJ Schools - Egg Harbor Township School District!

Congratulations to the EHTHS String Orchestras and Symphony Orchestra on their successful Spring Concert!

South Jersey’s only school Symphony once again filled the auditorium with sights and sounds from Brahms to Bernstein and more!

The evening was made extra special with the addition of a visual interpretation by the students of Mr. Justice’s Advanced Digital Art & Design class!

Special thanks to our Maestro, Ms. Jenna DiSalvio for making our students and program successful!

Thanks also to Mr. Jim House for making the auditorium and stage a great place for our ensembles!

A Great Wednesday for the Arts in EHTNJ Schools - Egg Harbor Township School District! Students from Mr. Elia’s and Ms. Powell’s Ceramics classes spent a beautiful day in Cape May examining and enjoying local artwork and architecture!

Thank You Ms. Powell and Mr. Elia for arranging this worthwhile day for our young artist and Thank You to the EHT Schools - Transportation dept. for getting our kids there quickly and safely! #ehtpride

A Great Thursday Night for the Arts in EHTNJ Schools - Egg Harbor Township School District!

Members of our EHTNJ - Egg Harbor Township High School Art Club, led by Mr. Phil McNulty held an exhibit to show off the visual-art-talent of our students!

The displays ranged from photographs to water color to digital to pop-art and more and were enjoyed by all the friends and families in attendance! #ehtpride

“What a true V.I.P experience at EHTHS for the 3rd grade A.R.T (Artist Response Team)! We had an incredible day Creating mini-bouquets at Eagle Greenery, Digital Art Self-Portraits, an Advanced Drawing lesson, flower sketches and watercolor painting, turning monster drawings into clay pinch-pots, and we swung in to check out the recording studio! Even the cafeteria and bus ride were a hit! A special thank you to Dr. K, Mrs. Smith, Mr. McNulty, Miss Shaner, Ms. Powell, Mr. Justice and Mr. Elia and their students for a memorable experience!”

A Great Tuesday for the

Arts in EHTNJ Schools - Egg Harbor Township School District!

This morning, our Fernwood Middle School Percussion Ensemble visited Davenport Elementary to perform their 2024 show and also teach the students all about various members of the percussion family.

THANK YOU to our Davenport Music Teacher Mrs. Missy Schenck and Fernwood Band Director, Mr. Marc Spatz for making this an annual and awesome event for our students!
