2nd Annual SPC Kickoff

The second annual kickoff was held September 7, 2023 in the Banquet Room at Simpson Garden Park. The kickoff gave individuals an opporutnity to sign up for the coalition and learn about our subcommittees! We had mental health activities, food, music and even some dancing!

Adult Subcommittee Chair-Aimee Coe

Angie is all about the teens and has initiatives like Project Prom where area High Schools submit videos about mental health and win prizes! Join this subcommitte today by contacting Angie at 419-354-9010.

Young Adults Subcommitte Chairs-Courtney Rice and Ashley Hartman.

This committee is hard at work connecting with the young adults and college aged community. They do fun and informational videos and are involved with a lot of technnology to reach this age! Postvention Committee Chair-Jessica Hartman

Jessica is working to help those individuals that have experienced a loss from suicide and have some caring initiatives to help those people heal. If this work touches you deeply, then this is the committee for you; contact Jessica at 419-352-0626.

Visit to Wood County Golf Courses and Driving Ranges🏌️

We visited golf courses and driving ranges throughout the county and delivered these golf bag tags with built-in golf tees! Almost 1,000 Tags were distributed! While we were there, we took time to educate about our mission and each location received this flyer explaining our coalition! Each location was encouraged to post on social media about our visit! Thank you to our golf partners. Did you know we sponsor golf course tee signs throughout the county?
