Please mark your calendar for "Parents and Pastries" night sponsored by our PTA on March 3rd at 6:00. This is in correlation with Dr. Seuss Read Across America Day. We invite parents to attend with your student in their class to read together and then enjoy a donut later in the evening. We look forward to this fun evening together as a Rees community.

Spring Picture Day will be March 4th. We will have all students picture taken, but you will have the option to purchase any packets. We will also take a standing class photo as an option for you to purchase. Click on the picture to view packet options and other information.

Our School Community Council will meet on Thursday, March 6th at 11:45 in the Conference Room. For more information about SCC and how they support our school click here.

There will be a PTA Meeting on Wednesday, March 12th at 10:00 in the Teacher's Lounge. Come on out and support our students and school! Click Here for the Rees PTA website.

We have made it through three terms of school! Teachers will be updating progress of students through term 3. We look forward to celebrating student growth at our last Parent Teacher Conference on April 10th.

Each school year, Rees students participate in the annual fundraiser Warm the Soles sponsored by Nebo Credit Union on March 17-21st. This fundraiser donates 100% of the proceeds to provide shoes for students in need in the Nebo School District community. Students can donate pennies to help their class win the penny war between grade levels, or donate silver coins and dollars to other classes to sabotage their total collection. It is a fun week for students to Serve and Support our community.

Kindergarten and Fifth Grade students will have graduation pictures on March 18th. The school will provide the picture and diploma at the end of the year.

Students will be dismissed at NOON on March 19th for Teacher Development Day. Lunch will be served one hour earlier.

CORRECTION:

The Choir on Rees Avenue will perform at their Spring Concert on April 23rd at 6:00. Thank You to our students for their hard work and to our director Tashua Pouliot for her time and preparation for our students.
