Chester Elementary School

Last week of February! Amazing. So, a little something that may not be on the radar for you and that has to do with students wearing smart watches to school. We are asking that students not wear them. Reason? Games, incoming text messages and calls (yep, it happens). They have become a distraction in several cases. While the technology is amazing and they are a lot of fun, we need to ask that they stay home. Or, if they are used as a form of communication with your child after school, then it needs to stay in their backpack until after school. Our preference is that they stay at home since some of them can be expensive...same with the phones, but I understand that that this can be an important thing for parents.
