MONDAY MATH MANIA: MAKING MATH MEANINGFUL - MONDAY, NOVEMBER 4th
This family friendly event is sponsored by the CUSD 303 District Title I Advisory Committee for families at Anderson Elementary, Davis Primary School, Richmond Intermediate School and Munhall Elementary School.
Parents and guardians are invited to participate in a session in which the elementary math curriculum and Eureka Math resource will be explained. This hands-on session will focus on how elementary math is taught in the district and how parents and guardians can support math at home.
While the adults are busy learning in their session, students will be making and playing math games that can be used at home. Families will come together for pizza and to share what they have learned in the sessions and participate in more fun math activities. RSVP Required.

NOTE FROM THE NURSE
Cold weather is coming! Please remember to send your student with outdoor clothing that is appropriate for the weather. Please include hats and gloves for a more comfortable playtime.
Flu season is just around the corner. If your student stays home with a fever or vomiting or gets sent home from the health office, please make sure your student is fever free and has not vomited for 24 hours before sending them back to school. This protects them from a recurrence and protects the students and staff in the building.
When reporting a student absence from school, please be specific when leaving a message for attendance as to the reason for the absence, for example, fever and sore throat as opposed to not feeling well. This allows us to track the wellness of the building with better detail. Thank you for your help.

SCHOOL PICTURES
We apologize for the wait and any issues that have occurred with the Lifetouch Picture Orders. This has not been our past experience with Lifetouch. They have always provided timely services and products. They have also done special photo events for us free of charge such as our Veterans Day Ceremony.
Our office and administrative staff have been in ongoing communication with the company since our Picture Day in September. It seems the issues have risen due to their joining with Shutterfly who now does the actual picture printing.
If you ordered your pictures online within 48 hours of our photo session, it seems pictures have been delivered to your home. If you ordered after that time, they may have been delayed.
We sent home the picture envelopes we received on Wednesday of this week. If there is a problem, please call the office and we will document for you and follow up with Lifetouch. Lifetouch has also asked us to give you a Customer Service Number that parents can call: 1-800-736-4753.
We have scheduled retakes on Friday, November 15th.
Thank you for your patience.
Denise
