Hot lunch relies on parent volunteers, if you can spare time that day, please make sure to click on the volunteer box when ordering. We cannot run this program without your help, and we enjoy meeting other Pine Street families. Family Resource Network - fall programs
Our Family Resource Network fall program schedule (2.7 MB) is now available! Connect with other parents and caregivers, learn new skills and support your childβs healthy development.
These FREE programs include:
- Drop-in parented programs for infants aged 0 to 18 months
- Drop-in parented programs for kids 0 to 6 years old
- Registered programs for kids in grades 1 to 3 and grades 4 to 6
- Registered parenting skill-building sessions for a variety of age groups
- Special events for families and children of all ages

School Advisory Council
Our first school advisory council meeting of the year will be on Thursday, September 19 at 6p.m. at the school. All parents and guardians of Pine Street students are automatically part of the school advisory council. We hope to see you there!
Cross Country Running Club
Mr. Yung will be leading a new cross country running club at our school this month for grades 4-6 students! Practices will run after school from 3:20-3:45PM. The practice dates are September 11, 16, 18, 23, and 25. The race date is October 2 at Rundle Park. If your child is interested in this club and missed the meeting this week, please reach out to Mr. Yung by email prior to the first practice.
Terry Fox Run
The Terry Fox Run will be held on Friday, September 20 at Pine Street. We are collecting Toonies for Terry in the office. Families can also donate online at https://schools.terryfox.ca/PineStreet
