🍂 What: School Forest Fall Cleanup

🗓️ When: Saturday, October 26, 9am - 12pm

📍 Where: Parkview School Forest

🌱 Why: Help with our yearly forest maintenance to keep it safe and enjoyable for our teachers and students. We will trim trees, pull invasive plants, and pick up trash.

🛠️ Tools Needed:

• Pruning shears (small/medium/large) ✂️
• Gallon buckets 🪣
• Chainsaw 🪚
• Trailer for hauling 🚜
• Working gloves 🧤

Whether you’re a returning pro or joining us for the first time, your energy will help create a magical event. 🌟 Don't miss out on this opportunity to connect with fellow volunteers and see the joy on students’ faces as they find new books.

Our biggest needs for volunteers:

🔅 10/22-10/28 | Mornings (8am-11am) - Even if you can only volunteer for part of the time, we’d love to have you!

If you have a child turning 5 by September 1, 2025, join us for a fun *free* evening of information and entertainment! Your child can ride a real school bus🚌, be a star in our Raider photo booth ⭐️, dance with the Teddy Bear Band (bring your own bear as a dance partner!) 🧸, enjoy a "super snack" from our Nutrition Services Department 🍎, get their own Class of 2038 t-shirt 👕, and much more!

Do your children know how to swim and stay safe around water? Would you like to learn how to swim as an adult? We offer swim lessons for youth ages 9 months and older, AND adults!

All lesson options for winter 2024 will be viewable online at isd623.org/aquatics starting November 2. Registration will start on November 22 at 2:00pm. Wondering which level to register for? Contact our aquatics team at 651-604-3763 to schedule a lesson assessment.

Our musical legend was born on December 13th, 1989. Make a splash to Taylor Swift’s sick beats and embrace her iconic style by testing out our Lover backdrop for the perfect photo op to capture those #SwiftieMemories. $10 child entry, $8 adult entry. Add on a $20 Swiftie party pack with friendship bracelets, goggles, dive toys, glitter beach balls, and more for the ultimate experience!

Looking for MEA Break activities for your child? Register them for this MEA opportunity: Drawing Baby Animals with Young Rembrandts! We'll begin with the heartwarming realism of nature's young, from a fawn to playful otters. Transition into Kawaii style, capturing those irresistibly cute, wide-eyed creatures. Add a twist as we imagine baby animals donning fashionable attire, blending humor with creativity, and dive into mythical baby creatures!
