The Hive
April 26th
Happy Friday!
We hope you all had a wonderful week!
This time of year, we always seem to find ourselves a little overwhelmed and a lot behind in not only work life, but home life too. I'm sure many of you can relate! This time of year seems to go by so quickly. We cannot believe that May 1st is on Wednesday.
We started thinking about how close the end of the year is and to be honest, it makes us sad to think about. Your kids continue to make us laugh every single day. They continue to surprise us every single day. They also continue to engage with us every single day. All of these things put together make coming to work incredibly fun every single day. We are SO lucky.
Have a wonderful weekend! We hope to see you at the Earth Day Clean-up tomorrow! Even if you can't come for the whole time, please join us for as long as you can. Scroll below for more information.
Enjoy this beautiful/rainy day!
With kindness,
BC & SS

Chromebook Information
This is a friendly reminder that it is important for students to keep the protective cases on their school issued Chromebooks to protect them from accidental damage. If you opted into the Hockinson Assurance Program at the beginning of the 2023-24 school year, and your student's Chromebook is damaged while any part of the case is off, the cost of repair will not be covered by your assurance as is stated in the exclusions section of the assurance form.
Here is the Hockinson Assurance Program form if you would like to take a closer look at what it offers, including coverage and exclusions. If you opted out of the assurance program at the beginning of the year and would like to have assurance coverage, you can opt-in at any time after your student's Chromebook has been inspected for damage. A paper form can be sent home with your student, or you can make an online payment through InTouch, the HSD payment portal.
