CLT TEACHING TIP: USING THE CANVAS GRADEBOOK
We’ve received many inquiries from faculty about using the Canvas Gradebook and Speedgrader. We also know that students really value the transparency of the Gradebook, and using Speedgrader (which integrates with the Gradebook) can save you time. Here are some resources:
Our tutorial Five Things to Do to Set Up your Gradebook
Our resources on Using Speedgrader, including a recording of the very thorough walkthrough webinar that was held on September 16
If you would like individual help setting up your Gradebook and/or learning to use Speedgrader, please make an appointment with the CLT. We are happy to assist you!
RESIDENTIAL STUDENT VISITOR POLICY
Effective yesterday, Student Affairs has updated their residence hall guest policy to allow residential students, and off-campus students participating in Champlain’s routine testing program, to visit each other in any residence hall. When we began the semester, restricting access to residence halls was a critical part of our efforts to establish the health of our community. Our student's commitment to the Health Pledge, participation in weekly testing, and adherence to public health measures made this update to our policy possible and this is an important milestone.
