Together Sailing Toward Success: Principal's Message
A Week to Remember & A Fond Farewell!
Dear Sippican School Families,
What a fantastic week it's been! Our 6th graders had an absolute blast at Silver Shell Beach, soaking up the sun and making memories. They dove into the water, played some energetic basketball and volleyball, and even got competitive with ga-ga ball. And from what we heard, the slushie consumption reached legendary levels! It sounds like they had the perfect beach day.
We ended last week with our highly anticipated Field Day, and it was a huge success! A special shout-out goes to Ms. Sanders and Coach O. for organizing such a fun-filled event, and a big thank you to Mrs. Lawrence and her Kindness Crew for their incredible help in facilitating all the activities. We truly appreciate everyone's efforts in making it 2 days to remember!
This coming week brings us to the last few days of school – can you believe it? It's going to be a memorable one!
Mark your calendars for Tuesday after school for our annual Band Blast! This heralded community event is always a highlight, showcasing the incredible talent of our students. You won't want to miss it!
Wednesday is our last day of school, and it will be an early release day. It's also the day we'll be saying a bittersweet goodbye to our wonderful 6th graders. We wish them all the very best as they embark on their exciting journey to Junior High!
As we wrap up the school year, we want to express our sincere gratitude for all your support. It's truly been a remarkable year filled with learning, growth, and countless special moments. We're so proud of everything our students have accomplished, and we can't wait to see what amazing things they'll do next!
We hope you have a wonderful summer!
Warmly,
Principal Dessert &
Assistant Principal Thomas

We heard all about amazing, free activities taking place this summer! We also shared a few books from the summer reading lists. Copies of the reading lists were sent home this week. They are also available on our library website - sippicanlibrary.com. If you have any questions, please reach out to Mrs. Barrett. Happy Summer Reading to all!
