MLK Harvest Festival
Red Ribbon Week October 23 -31, 2024
Red Ribbon Week is an annual eight-day celebration of intolerance for drugs in our schools, workplaces, and communities. Each year, during October 23-31, more than 180 million young people and adults show their commitment to a healthy, drug-free lifestyle by wearing or displaying the red ribbon. Wear something red or a red ribbon, on these eight days, except on Friday, October 25, 2024, wear pink.
Specialty School Visits
RPS specialty schools will visit MLK on October 23 -24, 2024. Students will have an opportunity to ask questions about the specialty schools, hear what makes them special, and how they align with future career goals.
For additional information, contact Mr. T. Carter, 8th-grade school counselor.
Girls Basketball Tournament
RPS Middle Girls basketball Tournament starts Thursday, October 24, 2024. Come out and support the Lady Titans, as the hoop to repeat as RPS Middle School Girls Basketball Champions. Let's Go, #Titan Strong!
