We will continue to practice our dance this week. Also on Thursday is the day for parents to come by the school and pick up their students report card. It is very important that you come that day. Thanks

• It is going to be hot over the next few weeks. This means we might not always be able to go outside for recess but we will have indoor recess.

Math:

Monday: We will estimate sums by rounding and apply to solve measurement

word problems.

Tuesday:We will decompose once to subtract measurements including three-digit

minuends with zeros in the tens or ones place.

Wednesday:We will decompose twice to subtract measurements including three-

digit minuends with zeros in the tens and ones places.

Thursday: We will estimate sums and differences of measurements by rounding,

and then solve mixed word problems.

Science:

We will model the orbits of planets around the sun and begin to understand their connection to changes in the night sky.
