New this year, J.P. Case Middle School has launched a building-wide student advisory program. The program breaks up the student body into small groups that will meet with staff members six times during the year. Each meeting will be a half-hour session and will focus on a particular theme. To set program goals, a Student Advisory Board, made up of nine 8th-graders, met with Principal Bob Castellano to establish the themes for each session. This year's themes include good character, positive and negative influences, social media and time management. Each session fosters an opportunity for students to voice thoughts and insights and engage in meaningful discourse with faculty and staff. The first of these six student advisory meetings will be held on October 15. Mr. Castellano said, "I appreciate our students' ideas and enthusiasm, I'm impressed by their commitment and I'm eager to see what's next." Way to go, Tigers!

J.P. Case students in Madame Kathleen Gauthier's 7th and 8th grade French classes adopted a theme song during Trimester 1. Mme Gauthier invites you to sway, whistle, hum, and sing along to this classic tune!

FRSD is a regional, pre-K-8 district serving the children, parents and residents of Flemington Borough and Raritan Township. Our 3,300 students and 600+ certified teachers and support staff are housed in six buildings: four elementary schools (preK-4), an intermediate school (5-6), and a middle school (7-8). The district expanded preschool to more children ages 3 and 4 in January 2024.
