PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Dear Trojan Families,
The end of our 3rd quarter ends on March 13th, and we'd like everyone to focus on finishing strong. Over the next few weeks, please assist us by encouraging your student to:
- attend all classes and complete all assignments
- check for missing work or projects that can still be submitted
- take advantage of WIN time and work with a peer for support
- review class materials and prepare for upcoming quizzes or tests
- reach out to teachers for clarification or support
Let's continue to work together to help our students achieve their best! As always, thank you for supporting us as we support our Trojans and prepare them to be successful at the next level.
In partnership,
Michael Abraham
Principal

ENROLL, ENLIST, EMPLOY
Seniors should be considering what they are planning to do after graduation in just a few short months. It's ok to not have a definitive plan right now, but they should be thinking about all of the available options-tech or trade school, college, military, or career opportunities. Students may speak with their school counselor or our career counselor for assistance.
Visit School Counseling / Career Planning for career counseling opportunities.
Visit School Counseling / SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES to access opportunities.

Tips from Nurse Sadie
Here are a few things parents can do to help our schools reduce the spread of illness:
Don’t send children to school if they are sick. Any children who are sick at school will be sent home. Staying home when sick will allow your children to rest and allow you to monitor their health closely.
Teach your children to wash their hands often with soap and water.
Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue or upper sleeve when you cough or sneeze.
Take time to get a flu vaccine. Flu vaccination is the best way to prevent the flu. SCDPH strongly recommends all South Carolina residents older than 6 months old get the flu vaccine as soon as possible to prevent the flu, unless they have a medical reason not to be vaccinated.
Teach your children not to share personal items like drinks, food or unwashed utensils.
Know the signs and symptoms of the flu and Covid.. Symptoms of the flu include fever (100 degrees Fahrenheit, 37.8 degrees Celsius or greater), cough, sore throat, a runny or stuffy nose, body aches, headache, and feeling very tired. Some people may also vomit or have diarrhea.

ATTENDANCE MATTERS
- Students must be present for at least 60 minutes to get credit for attending class.
