I want to express my thanks to all that made our Veterans Day assembly such a great success. It is always fantastic to have members of our community join us for this great assembly.
To all of our veterans, we are deeply grateful for your service and sacrifice. Your dedication to our country is truly appreciated, and today we honor you for all that you have done.
Thank you again for making this Veterans Day so special and I hope everyone has a restful 3 day weekend.

Saltar's Point Elementary
We completed the unit on how to handle rude, mean, and bullying behaviors with some role plays. We are moving on to an activity called “The Compliment Game” for the next two weeks. We will practice giving and receiving compliments. It’s a lot of fun for our students and a skill that sometimes is overlooked.
As a reminder we are starting to see more rainy days, please make sure that your student dresses appropriately for the weather. Our health room is extremely limited in clothing and may not be able to provide a change of clothes. Students may keep a change of clothes in their backpacks, as needed.

If your student has a lost book(s), the fine can be removed either from payment, finding and returning the book(s), or replacing the book.
