A message from Dr. Clark
Thanksgiving Day Prayer
Dear Lord, on Thanksgiving Day, we bow our hearts to You in prayer.
We give You thanks for all You have done, mostly for the gift of Jesus Christ, Your Son.
For beauty in nature, in which we see Your Glory, for joy and health, friends, and family.
For our daily sustenance, Your mercy, and care, these are the blessings You kindly share.
So today, we offer this response of praise with a promise to follow
You all of our days. Amen.
Dear Holy Cross Community,
I wanted to express my deep gratitude and appreciation to each of you. Thanksgiving is not celebrated in Peru, where I grew up; however, being thankful has always been a core value in our family. We are grateful to God for all we have been given, and we sincerely believe that practicing gratitude invites joy into our lives. As the world continues to change rapidly, I am profoundly grateful for the gift of being a part of this remarkable community of faith.
Holy Cross reflects the invaluable contributions that every community member has made throughout its journey. We sincerely thank all Holy Cross families and friends for their continued support, generosity, and unwavering partnership. By working together in synergy, we will always overcome any challenge and accomplish all of our goals for our students as long as we remain firmly rooted in the Holy Cross mission and pillars.
Wholehearted thanks to Fr. Abner, Fr. Marcos, and our exceptional faculty and staff, who make the magic happen at Holy Cross. Our successes are a direct result of your extraordinary commitment, hard work, and love for our students. Thank you for creating safe spaces where our students feel seen, valued, cared for, and proud to be who they are and live their faith. Your ongoing commitment to being an architect of learning and spiritual growth for student success is unparalleled.
Our school community believes in creating a better world through Catholic education. We are beyond grateful for our students, who are our purpose and daily source of inspiration, hope, and sincere gratitude. Together, we are developing the next generation of scholarly disciples who will be ready to solve society’s most pressing challenges and build a more peaceful, just, and sustainable world for all.
With appreciation and prayers for a blessed Thanksgiving break.
